DIESEL Keeper ASD A for PETERBILT, Series 3
Design features
DIESEL Keeper ASD A Series 3 for PETERBILT Heavy duty trucks. This Anti-Siphon Device fits on the diesel fuel tank inlet of most Heavy Duty Peterbilt trucks where the fuel cap has three pins. The device comes with a new fuel cap with two pins.
The top grid has a honeycomb shape inside the fill neck, and the bottom grid has a similarly designed honeycomb shape. The top flange has thirteen trapezium openings around the circumference of the neck to allow for air to escape as the tank is filled. The top flange also has four holes to accommodate the snap-off screws, and one diagonal slot that can be used for checking the fuel level with a dip stick, or to allow for DOT fuel inspections.
The device also comes with a total of four snap off screws and a "plate" that to which three of the four screws attach. The locking snap off screw is our part number DK-SOC-08-12 and is designed to lock the ASD into place on the fuel tank. Upon installation, this screw is to be aligned with one of the pins on the fuel tank.

The Device is designed to fit onto the diesel fuel tank with the top part extending 1.2" (30mm) above the diesel tank. A new fuel cap comes with the device, along with a steel cable for attaching the cap to the ASD.
